REPORT: Carson Wentz Dislocates Ankle

In a 24-14 win against the Buffalo Bills, QB Carson Wentz dislocated his ankle and will miss the next 7 weeks, leaving last year’s 4th round pick Joey Boselli to lead the team. Wentz dislocated his ankle after Davyon Dailey recovered a muffed punt on his own 8 yard line and the team decided to do a triple option play. Taking it for himself, Wentz fumbled and went to the ground, however the played was overturned and Boselli threw a 9 yard touchdown pass to Trey Burton on the very next play. Overall, Joey Boselli went 2/3 with 37 yards and a touchdown while taking 2 sacks and having a lone rush of 11 yards.

In the next 6 games, the Eagles play the Giants (wk 11&15), Cowboys (wk12&14), Bears, and Patriots. It is expected that Wentz will return for the week 17 matchup against the Green Bay Packers.
