LA Rams struggle out of bye, have now lost two straight. QB Questions?

Coming out of their bye, the LA Rams were hoping to capitalize from the bye week to prevent a two game losing streak. What happened was the complete opposite, as the Rams struggled for the 2nd game in a row with moving the ball on offense and turnovers. Sam Bradford, who through the 1st 6 games registered a perfect passer rating for the year and had no turnovers, has now thrown 5 interceptions in the past two games. Teams have been playing more coverage while their defense collapses the pocket, as Bradford is not athletic enough to make plays with his feet. Into the 3rd quarter, the Rams swapped in QB Jared Goff to spark the offense and he led a scoring drive with his legs, totaling 40 yards rushing on the drive. Questions will be raised around the team’s offense if Bradford continues to struggle, and a switch may be needed to the more mobile Goff.

The defense of the Ram did its job, holding the Bears to only 19 points, and keeping the team in the game for as long as they could. DE Ray Raymer registered his 5th sack, and CB Nickell Robey Coleman made a great play for an INT on Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky.

Eyes will be looked on WR Sammy Watkins, who needs to step up and take over the no.1 Receiver role in the absence of Tavon Austin.

The Rams now return home to play a tough divisional opponent, the Seattle Seahawks, who are also 6-2, are on a roll after rolling the San Fransisco 49ers, 52-7.
