Bears Square off against Rams

In a match between two potential playoff teams in Chicago and LA this was going to be a hard contested match all 4 quarters. The Rams came in at 6-1 leading the NFC West while Chicago was tied for 1st in their respective NFC North. The game was essentially decided by turnovers.

Los Angeles had come into the game in 3rd place in giveaways with only having 3 the entire season. The Chicago Bears forced 3 turnovers today with a couple others bouncing back toward LA. Bradford wasn’t his usual self throwing for less than 60% of a completion rate and comitted 2 of those turnovers. Gurley who has been a workhorse for the Rams was held to a mere 9 yards as they got away from the run game early on.

Credit to LA for staying in the game almost all 60 min. The Rams scored once they had swapped QBs with Goff taking over and marched down the field. The Bears answered back with a shot down the field to Kevin White and blew bast the Rams secondary. The combination of Howard, Cohen, and Cunningham at RB provided enough to milk the remainder of the clock and move the Bears to 6-2.

This season is at the halfway mark and we’ve seen another leap with JMB’s team leading the divison for the first time in WFL History. Still, there’s a sense of discipline from this team that they have plenty more work to do. A divisional rematch of last week’s blowout against Minnesota is looming as they look to begin their NFC North Crown Quest.

Trubisky on his production going down, “We have a very good run game here and if that means we let them do their thing then that’s what we’re going to do, it’s a team game after all.”

The Bears are halfway done with their season, lets see how they finish moving forward. #BearDown
